The R1S glass roof · +$349
The Rivian R1S has a large fixed glass roof that spans the cabin. In Arizona it acts like a skylight over your head, pouring infrared heat and UV onto every row. Ceramic film on the roof glass blocks up to 85% of infrared heat and up to 99% of UV, so the whole cabin stays cooler and your climate system works less hard. Add it when you request your quote.
Windshield tint & protection

What is the legal window tint shade for a Rivian in Arizona? +
Arizona law requires front side windows to let at least 33% of light through (33% VLT). Rear side windows and the back glass can be any darkness. We walk you through Arizona-legal shade options for your R1T or R1S before any film is cut.
Can you tint the Rivian R1S glass roof? +
Yes. The R1S has a large fixed glass roof that lets a lot of heat and UV into the cabin. We can add our ceramic film to the glass roof to cut infrared heat and block up to 99% of UV, which keeps the cabin cooler and protects your interior. It is quoted as part of our Full Vehicle plus Glass Roof coverage.
Will window tint interfere with my Rivian's electronics or signal? +
No. Our ceramic film is non-metal, so it will not interfere with your Rivian's cell signal, GPS, key fob, or driver-assist sensors the way old metallic film can. It is a safe choice for an EV that relies on connectivity.
